      Folks,

ANNOUNCING: From MCZ Models and Freudenreich Feinwerktechnik, the U.S.
arrival of 5 new Z scale injection molded, pad printed, 40 foot hi-cube
corrugated shipping containers. These are the only prototypically correct
corrugated Z scale containers available and constitute at least 98% of
the 40' dry (non-reefer) containers seen in the last 20 years. The
containers contain all markings seen on the prototype, most are legible
under magnification. The new containers are:

      1. COSCO (Gray with blue lettering, including Chinese characters)

      2. Evergreen (Green with white lettering, white & red logo)

      3. Hapag-Lloyd (Orange with blue logo, black lettering)

      4. Ivaran (Orange with white lettering)

      5. Yang Ming (Gray, with red and blue logo, red lettering)

The following 40' corrugated containers were already available: APL,
China Shipping, Hanjin, "K" Line, Lys-Line, Maersk, MSC (Mediterranean
Shipping Line), NedLloyd, Zim, and undecorated.

The decorated containers have a retail price of $9.95, undecorated $6.95.

The containers are available from 6 dealers, in no particular order:

Zscalemonster, Norm's Train World, Ztrack Center, Needtrains.com,
      Hobbycraftsnmore, Loren Snyder (ljsnyder@...)

53 foot hi-cube corrugated containers are also available from those
dealers in: APL, CSX Intermodal white and blue (white may be sold out
by some dealers), Hub Group, Swift, Triton, Crowley (red and blue,
may be sold out), CN, and undecorated.

The containers fit Micro-Trains and AZL well cars and stack on Marklin,
Micro-Trains and AZL containers. AZL containers do not stack on these
      containers because of pin incompatibility.

      CheerZ,
      Malcolm Z
