Snail speed controller
I was wondering if anyone could tell if there is a difference between
the snail speed controller and the universal controller at Zthek's site.
I know one runs of a 9-volt battery and one plugs into the wall and I
want to be able to plug it into the wall. But is the speed control the
same between the 2 controllers?
- Chris, To the best of my knowledge train operation with Lajos'
controllers are the same regardless of whether they are 9v or plug in.
I own one of each and while I like the plug in better I can see no
obvious operating differences. The 9v is just more expensive to
operate in the long run because of battery replacement costs. They

You may want to consider Zthek's Universal controller. This gives you the
option to run off of a 9 volt battery or from a plug-in power supply which is
included. It is the best of both worlds! You can find these at:
