SD70 wheel regauging
- Hi all, hi Dominique
I have regauged the axles of my sd 70 with a normal knife. just pushing a little bit between the inside of the wheel and the middle of the chassis (where the wheel is fixed to the chassis)...just pushing a bit, kontrolling with track gauge, pushing, and so on. you do this with all six axles. it worked very well, and was easier than I have thought. I didn't even have to take the chassis apart!!
now my sd70 runs very well over all turnouts, even in very slow motion :-)
best wishes, daniel
