I emailed the owner of Time Cast and asked how close to Z (1:220
scale) his buildings were. Here is his response. Over the next 6
months I'll be ordering some items from Time Cast and checking out
how suitable they are to Z.

Subject: Re: 6mm Buildings = Scale?

      Hi John

In wargames terms the "6mm" refers to figure
height, so a 6 foot scall figure is 6mm, or a scale 1mm to the foot..

"6mm" is a broad term encorperating scales between 1:285 and 1:305.
Our models are following the American wargaming trend of getting a
bit biggrer so the models will suit 8/9mm (or 1:220) so we come in
at about 1:255 which particularly for our bigger items means they do
fit very well with Z Gauge.

      Hope this is of help

      Regards
      Mark
