Re: Waterless workshop
- Mine's been that way since we moved. Former house had a garage
but landlord stored his junk/boat in one side, just room for
my car on the other.
New workshop, or as my sons named it "the Train Shed"
is a 10x16 steel shed, no water but electricity. Picked up
a little dual power fridge for liquid refreshments, most painting
for Z&N-scale uses very small amounts of paint, usually a half
gallon jug of water is more than sufficent for most cleanups.
I pee outside, waste of water to go all the way up to the house
and use the 1.5 GPL toilet for 3 ounces of pee!
For parts clening picked up a small ultrasonic cleaner from a
jewelery store. Also have a CD boombox for music and an old
Compaq WIN95 laptop for record keeping of train service manuals
and pics of trains on the screen saver program.
