      Hi Alex,

I live in the Milwaukee Road area. I would be glad to help you find
answers for any questions you may have about it. The Milwaukee Road was
a remarkable, home-grown sort of operation.

      Best regards from Hiawatha Territory,

      Greg McAndrews

      Hi Giovanni,

happy to see you back. About the Milwaukee Road, I am stil trying to
      understand the reason.
I have never been in the area served by this railroad but along my life
      I was always addicted of
Minnesota interests in my various hobbies... Northwest Orient as
      airline, Vikings in football and
only after 2 years in train modelling I realized how much I like the so
far uknown for me Milwaukee Road.
It was an evolution: Marklin German models --> Marklin scarce US models
--> US railroading in general uknown so far
--> MTL,AZL models, all railroads but no fallen in love with one -->
Milwaukee Road!! And it was love at first sight.

      A previous life maybe?

The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right

      dear alex,
after two months here's my reply to your welcome message.
i had already heard about you from z-friend uncle will, who wrote me
about another italian in rome interested in american z-scale.
i have a brother living there and he's always complaining i never go
to find him; next time i go, i'll get in touch with you for a visit
      at your z stuff.
meanwhile i joined the italian z-group and one day i will send a
      message, in italian, at last!
looking at your website i was quite curious about your special
interest for the milwakee railroad; it's not a common favourite road,
expecially in italy, compared to the more famous santa fe, union
      pacific, etc.
is there any reason? did you live there?
      for now, ciao, giovanni.
