Where does the gasket blow? More than one area? How much was cut off the head the first time, and after? Do you install the head first, without the cam box

If you see the gasket keep failing on the same area definitely is the head ether warp or crack, but if the problem is in different places the problem can be related to torque sequence or torque pressure and many other stuff related to the cooling system itself .

If you see the gasket keep failing on the same area definitely is the head ether warp or crack, but if the problem is in different places the problem can be related to torque sequence or torque pressure and many other stuff related to the cooling system itself .

Where are you located? I have one in good shape!...............Ciao!

If you see the gasket keep failing on the same area definitely is the head ether warp or crack, but if the problem is in different places the problem can be related to torque sequence or torque pressure and many other stuff related to the cooling system itself .

Where are you located? I have one in good shape!...............Ciao!

The belts have a mechanical sensor that will not allow them to be pulled out rapidly. Try pulling them out slowly.  Do they move at all? Belts unused for years can be a little balky about moving, at first, and have to be slowly moved out until they stop, then only let it go back in slightly, and pull out again slowly. Repeat as needed.

You could always buy some new belts from me.  (or another reputable vendor.  :)

Art I have a question. How do you get the seat belts in a 1988 Yugo GV to uncoil ? Mine seem to be stuck. I just bought the car and am trying to learn. The interior is show room clean. No spots, dirt or scuffs, as is the exterior.  Needs brakes etc. from sitting  Jim Muldoon
