      What is the significance of showing the top of the head when you
      bow? If to an equal you show very little (enough that you can still
      see there toes) and to a respected instructor perhaps all head and
      neck in a very low bow..

      I would imagine that its to do with offering the neck to be cut, or
      at least the vulnerability. But am not sure so would like to know
      what you chaps think?
