Hello, everyone –
Wittenberg will be holding these events for Yom HaShoah next Tuesday. The prayer service at Weaver Chapel is being organized by the Jewish Culture Club and will led by faculty and students; Heather and Michael will be the featured speakers. In the evening, there is a speaker who lived in Amsterdam and was taken in by a Christian family during the war. He will be sharing his story with us. Please see the flyers for more detail.
All events are free and open to the public. If you need any further info, please contact me, Heather or Michael.
Wittenberg’s annual observance of Yom Hashoah (day of remembrance of the Holocaust) will feature two events on Tuesday, April 9th: A prayer service in the morning at 11:20 a.m. in Weaver Chapel and a survivor speaking in the evening in Bayley Auditorium, Barbara Derr Kuss Science Center, at 7 p.m. Please see the attached flier and bio.
