      NOTE: This position will split time between our Harlem and Midtown offices

      The Associate Editor and Correspondence Coordinator is a unique post within the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). This staff person will work in cooperation with both CGI and the Clinton Foundation's correspondence department. S/he will be responsible for editing letters directed to leading global CEOs, heads of foundations, major philanthropists, and directors of highly effective nongovernmental organizations.

      This person must have superior relationship management skills and must effectively liaise between CGI and the Clinton Foundation. A primary role will include facilitating the approval of message templates by all necessary parties, ensuring unified messaging throughout both entities, and quickly developing an understanding of complex relationships both internal and external.


      *Editing and processing letters

      *Performing extensive internal and external research pertaining to associated organizations

      *Maintaining organization of multiple simultaneous CGI projects -- this staff person will regularly monitor and

      coordinate with other Correspondence staff members to be informed of all other simultaneous correspondence donor projects

      *Drafting language for various CGI correspondence

      *Ensuring that correspondence is handled with expediency, diplomacy, and care

      *Interacting with all CGI departments to plan and execute assignments

      *Various other special projects on an as-needed basis


      *S/he will bring several years of experience in managing multiple, executive-priority projects, be accustomed to a fast-paced environment, be a quick learner who equally enjoys administrative duties and writing/editing responsibilities:

      *Superior writing and editing skills

      *Outstanding organization and time-management skills

      *Excellent relationship management skills

      *A meticulous attention to detail

      *A calm, yet persistent approach to tasks at hand

      *Bachelor's degree required
