      Change to Win is looking for a Political Field Director to manage the
      organization' s political targeting and assist in developing
      strategies to win elections on the national, state and local levels.

      Change to Win is a partnership of seven unions and six million
      workers committed to building a new movement of working people
      equipped to meet the challenges of the global economy and restore the
      American Dream in the 21st century: a paycheck that can support a
      family, affordable health care, a secure retirement and dignity on
      the job.

      The seven partner unions are: International Brotherhood of Teamsters,
      Laborers' International Union of North America, Service Employees
      International Union, UNITE HERE, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and
      Joiners of America, United Farm Workers of America, and United Food
      and Commercial Workers International Union.

      Responsibilities of the Political Field Director include but are not
      limited to the following:

      Create and implement national field plan;

      Manage all electoral field activity in Change to Win's target states
      including canvassing, worksite leafleting, community outreach, and
      coalition building;

      Oversee the development of state-by-state field plans;

      Develop training program to enhance the knowledge and skills of staff
      and activists;

      Work with partner organizations and candidate campaigns to coordinate
      direct voter contact programs where legal and appropriate;

      Manage Change to Win field staff;

      Oversee field budget; and

      Participate in the strategic planning and budgeting process for the
      political department.
      Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

      More than 8 years of experience in field organizing;

      Experience managing national field organizing efforts and in all
      facets of voter contact including canvassing, worksite outreach,
      visibility, and earned media;

      Experience working with labor unions;

      Experience managing staff;

      Familiarity with political landscape in a number of presidential
      battleground states;

      Ability to manage a multi-million dollar budget; and

      Willingness to travel.
