  • It has been a while since I've visited this group. I posted a question last week, and then noticed that this group/forum gets very little action.... I've discovered that there is an "alternate universe" at http://yuilibrary.com/forum/ (where I re-posted my question). If this group is being deprecated in favor of the other one, it would be great if there was some announcement to...

  • The code below demonstrates the issue. The leak is VERY pronounced in IE, a bit less so in FF. In our application as the user selects objects from a table, an ajax call goes out to get data for that object. As a consequence one of the existing submenus is deleted and a new 3 level cascading submenu is build and rendered. Each time that happens a substantial memory leak occurs. This...

  • OK, I finally realized that it is the item with which the menu/submenu is associated with that has the text I need to change, not the menu/submenu. So, this question has been answered. • How do I get a hold of text (label) associated with a submenu, and then change it? I have a cascading menu, depending on the context I would like to get the text of the submenu, and then, possibly, set new text. I've tried menu.cfg.getProperty("text"), menu.get("text"), and such, so far to no avail. Thanks, Ania.

  • Dav, I've added "useShim:true" to all the units. To no better results. I then tried adding it only to the outer layout, and not the inner, and then vice-versa. I cannot get this to work. • I have a nested layout. The inner-bottom pane has an iframe. When resizing that bottom pane by dragging the horizontal splitter which divides the inner-center and inner-bottom, all works well. The splitter drags over the iframe. However, when trying to resize either the right pane or the left pane by dragging vertical splitters, they will not drag over the iframe part (but they...
