      hi,

i am using the resize panel and would like to know how i can enable it
      to be minimized and maximised.
i have also set both the width and height on the panels when they are
      initialized to '30em' each.
i have managed to close the panels following the other panel examples.
but can't seem to be able to minimise them.

There is no built-in minimize/maximize functionality in Panel. You would need to build this functionality on your own. Minimizing could be the same as hiding the Panel with an animation effect, and maximizing would be the same as setting the width and height of your Panel to the width and height of the viewport.
