I would like to create a table with XY scrolling where I can freeze the top header row and freeze a few columns on the left side so that scrolling doesn't move those rows or columns (like freezing rows and columns in a spreadsheet).

Is this possible in YUI? I'm currently using YUI v2.7.

DataTable does not support freezing in place anything but the header
row(s). Many people have asked for it in this forum, but I don't even
know if anyone actually filed a feature request, which is the only real
way it might be taken into the development schedule. Emails are
ephemeral, the only way to get it done, ever, is to file a ticket or add
your vote if there is one.
