      Greetings:

I am using the SimpleTextEditor in one of my interfaces. The interface calls for showing and hiding of the editor via a layered div.

I am trying to use CSS zIndex to show and hide the layers. I am able to hide everything in this way with the exception of the <textarea> tag in Internet Explorer (IE).

I am including the http://yui.yahooapis.com/2.7.0/build/assets/skins/sam/skin.css skin for look and feel.

Does anyone have some hints here as to how I can hide the textarea tag in IE? The showing and hiding works fine in Firefox and Safari.

Thank you for your time and advice.
      Bill.
