      I am having the same issue. I tried setting the "iframe" config
      property, and it works (at least on IE7 and FF2, rendering 4.01
      transitional). Having to use the iframe configuration bothers me,
      though sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

      With other objects, you can typically set "wmode" to "transparent".
      But users access the pdf via an iframe, not an object tag, so there's
      no way to set the wmode (as far as I know).

        I've added iframe:true to my menu but the application still looks

        (menu in this image is taller than shown so somehow still goes behind
        pdf )
        Any other fixes I can apply Dav ?
