      Hi there,

I am currently helping develop a home page using the YUI drag-drop lists
feature, so page elements can be re-arranged around the page. The problem
is, when the page re-loads, the layout goes back to its origional position.
I was wondering if there is a way to save the current location of the list
items. I would imagine it would involve some kind of cookies, but wouldn't
      know where to begin.

      Appreciate any help

      Cheers

You can look at this example:
          http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/examples/dragdrop/dd-reorder.html

There is a method in the example called: YAHOO.example.DDApp.showOrder

You could modify that method to store the Cookie data and then rebuild the list when the page is reloaded..
