      Editor is not available in YUI 3 yet.

      If you need the code to be "perfect" then you will need to validate it on the server-side to make sure it's the way you want it..

      I would suggest running it through HTMLTidy after you get it back from the Editor.

      Does that make sense?

      Is this something that is already fixed in version 3. If it is, then I don't mind upgrading. I also noticed that if I align text to right or center etc, the output is align=center without "". It should have been align="center"

      My goal is to parse the output as an html and then convert it to PDF and for which I need the elements to be right.

      I have created 2 bugs. One is for extra LI element and another is for style attribute in span. Here is the summary

      Changing font family and size generates invalid html Private: (?)
      No
      In YUI Rich text editor, I added some text and then changed the font type
      to Times New Roman and size to 16, the output was

      <span style="FONT-SIZE: 16px" style="font-family: Times New Roman;">times
      16</span>

      Notice that there are 2 style attributes within the same span element.

      In order to get XHTML from the Editor you need to set the markup config option to 'xhtml'.

      As for the extra LI, what version of Editor are you using? I thought I fixed that issue with the latest release.

      Hi,
       I recently started using YUI Rich Rext Editor. It generates html
      elements. I noticed that for some elements that the editor generates,
      it does not conform to xhtml standard. For example, a line break comes
      as <br> instead of <br></br> or <br/>. Similarly for an ordered list,
      it generates an extra li element at the end. It looks like

      <ol>

      <li>one </li>
      <li>two </li>
      <li>three</li>
      </ol>
      </li>

      Does anyone know if there is a fix available or which js file I can
      update to fix this problem.
