      Hi,

      I'm using the SimpleEditor, but there's one thing that seems to be
      wrong. If the user clicks one of the disabled buttons, the default event
      is not stopped, and since the button has an <a href="#">, the page jumps
      to the top.

      You can see here:

      http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/examples/editor/simple_editor.html

      Click on 'Create Link' button when it's disabled (i.e. no text is selected)
      I've tried this with FF2, Chrome, and IE7

      After investigating it a bit, I found out that no events are fired if a
      button is disabled. The defaults events are also not stopped.

      See simpleeditor.js @ line 307:

      // Disabled buttons should not respond to DOM events
      if (this.DOM_EVENTS[p_sType] && this.get('disabled')) {
      return;
      }

      If I add the following before the return:
      Event.stopEvent(p_aArgs);
      things seems to be ok.

      Could someone comment on this issue ?

      Regards,
