      Hi Dav,

It will certainly be something to do with the aspx (which is distinct from asp btw) controls work - however as its happening in the javascript you can definitely see what is happening using firebug for example just viewing my site.

Aspx has its own javascript event handlers hanging on the submit event to run validation scripts etc. If I had a couple of hours I could maybe find it myself... but javascript isn't my specialty.

I'll let you know if I find out any more.

      Cheers,

      Dale

      Dale --

I'm not sure what the issue is, but I personally think it may be something to do with the way ASP form controls work. I can't test this as I don't have access to create an ASP page..

Can you file a bug for this, maybe I can setup an ASP server in a VM to see what is going on..

      Thanks
      Dav

Hi - yes I have done that - but does that mean that there is something wrong the way the submit event handler is being added in the RTE code since when I add it manually myself it works fine.

Since its all in the javascript it may be able to be debugged from my sample link below.

I'd look myself if I had the time, but behind on everything at the moment.

      Thanks for a great editor.

      Cheers,

      Dale

      Dale --

I know little to nothing about ASP, so I can't begin to help debug it too much ;)

However can you try to disable the handleSubmit and handle the form submission on your own?

      Hi Dav,

OK I think the last link I sent was broken, so here it is: http://amanziadmin. creative- dreaming. com/test. aspx

In IE you have to click each button twice to have it submit.

In Firefox it always submits, but never changes page.

So something about the submit event/order/ other is being changed to prevent the aspx control from working correctly.

Would you like me to file this as a bug report?

      Cheers,

      Dale

      H All Again,

My second problem of the day is handling the submit.

I am using the rich text editor inside an asp.net wizard control and when I set handleSubmit on the rich text editor it causes a problem with the previous/next buttons. Basically the first click is ignored and it takes a second click to actually submit the page.

Does anyone have any ideas? Solutions?

      Thanks,

      Dale
