      Hey Dav,

First, thx about the doctype issue.

The html I mentioned occurs after the form-submit. So I can't wrap up a static version of it.
I'll look into it and isolate the issue..

      One more thing,

I attached the rte_example. html. Despite the label initial value (12) of font-size spin,
The page always opens with 16 in FireFox. What could be the reason of this?

      Regards,

      Mert..

The doctype issue is a known issue:
      https://sourceforge .net/tracker/ index.php? func=detail&aid=1804028&group_id=165715&atid=836476

As for the other issue, try calling:

myEditor.saveHTML( ); //This will put the Editor's content back into the textarea
      myEditor.get('textarea').value;

Even if the site is not available on the net, can you send me a copy of the page, so I can try and replicate it?

I haven't been able to replicate what you are seeing..

      Hey Dav,

sorry it's local (closed-to-the- net prj)..

can you suggest any other way to get the content of editor?
It seems myEditor.get('textarea').value doesn't work for me.. :/

      The other thing I observed

      without the

      <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" " http://www.w3. org/TR/html4/ strict.dtd">

at the head of the page, editor does not work on IE7 (but works on IE6)

      Hey,

I am using RTE in my apps and while trying on FireFox, I've seen that getEditorHTML( ) returns cotent_of_the_ textarea + the_html_below when I input just foo.

      the_html_below:

      <div style="position: absolute; width: 28px; height: 28px; z-index: 1000; display: none;"></div><img class="yui-img" style="position: absolute; width: 35px; height: 29px; z-index: 1000; display: none;" src="chrome://piclens/ content/launch. png">

And there is no sign of this HTML on IE.7. How weird is that?
(or should I use something else instead of getEditorHTML( ))

      Cheers,

      Mert
