      Hi All,

This may be a stupid (ignorant?) question, but is there any way in XMLDBMS
to specify that all the attribute values in the XML created by DBMSTODOM
      come out as upper-case?

      Thanks,

Not a stupid question at all.

In version 1.x, this is not possible.

In version 2.0, it is possible. What you need to do is write an
        implementation of the StringFormatter interface
        (org.xmlmiddleware.conversions.formatters) that converts outgoing values
to upper case. You then need to modify your map so that all columns
mapped to attributes use this string formatter. See xmldbms2.dtd for
details on how to do this.
