Group Description

A forum to exchange information about and promote the recording and conservation of the butterflies and moths of the Wyre Forest near Bewdley. The Wyre Forest is one of the most important sites for butterflies and moths in all of the UK with around 1,200 different species recorded there. This discussion group has been set up as part of Grow with Wyre which is a landscape project to restore and protect the special landscape of Wyre Forest with its orchards, ancient woodland, special trees and species rich grasslands. The overall aim is to help people to learn more about why Wyre is such an important place and how everyone can help to look after it.
