Prof. Dev: This Week at Tapped In (December 12 - 18)

Join the Webheads TESOL/ESL/EFL/ELL community on Saturday for Writing
for Webheads (students) and Sunday for Webheads in Action (teachers).

      Tuesday's events include Pam Berger's WebTools, Sue Roseman's K-3+
Resources (The Year in Review), and Bill Hilton Jr.'s Nuts About Nature.
Bill always uses a teaser for his topic and this month is no exception -
"It's beginning to look a lot like ...?" Wednesday's topics start with
Targeting Librarians! discussing the development of "thinking" skills,
Donna Hendry's Language Arts Forum, and the School Counselor's topic is
Multicultural Issues. Fasten your seatbelts for Thursday as Leni Donlan
leads the LOC Learning Page Chat on the topic of Music in America,
Bernie Dodge takes a look at Global Warming WebQuests, Nancy Willard
addresses the hot topic if Internet Safety and Bullying, and the
Alternative/Correctional Ed discussion takes a tips and tricks tour of
the Tapped In interface and the resources available to this special
group of educators. Included in the several events scheduled for
Saturday are Jeff Cooper's Collaboration Central and a discussion for
Religious Educators led by John Greenamyre.

Don't forget to look at all the Tips and Tricks sessions (including new
T&Ts at OZ, Asian and Euro-friendly times) offered throughout the week
to help both new and experienced Tapped In users get the most from the
      interface!
