This one says: the group seems to be regulating itself fairly well now, and there's no need to take action to keep it on subject or to subject each other to further unpleasantness. The group ranged far off-topic before because that was its nature, and if you don't like that nature you can always find another group. That nature has changed though, at least for the time being, and it seems to be sticking on-topic without too much urging. That suits me because I have too little time for the old debates and I'm concerned about my stress levels. If that changes in the future, that's also fine - maybe I'll participate again, maybe I'll just listen, maybe I'll leave; the choice remains open, and nobody has to be here. It's a community, not a committee.

I used to get a lot of personal pleasure out of pitting my wits against the rest of the group, but there's only so far that adversarial thinking can get you, and I think I reached the point where I was too pleased with my own cleverness to progress in my thinking. That's a highly specialised but quite common species of stupidity among people who are clever with words. I think I've made more real progress through the time I spent in counselling, questioning my own motivations, thinking about Mind Maps and by putting everything into the HeadCase project than I did by picking fights.

          Cheers...
          Elliott

Also, I read that anarchic groups tend to generate more and better
ideas than groups led by chosen individuals, or facilitators.

I'm fairly happy to remain an anarchist:)

Initial evidence indicates that your "majority of one" assertion is
incorrect. Your arrogance in assuming that your personal prejudices
are those of others is noted, and I hope noted by you as well. I
              recommend that you grow up.

I can put back the same question to you. Up to now I haven´t see any email, which applaudes with your behaviou. But I have remarked, that you have changed it.

Then it appears to me that your assertion concerning the opinion of
"the majority of this group" was incorrect. Did you have ANY
substantiation other than your own personal opiniion, or perhaps that
of one or two? Do you always use such narrow justification for your
