AMERICAN SERGEANT ARRESTED FOR KILLING TWO OF HIS OFFICERS.
      AP, June 17, 2005

U.S. Staff Sergeant Alberto B. Martinez was arrested by military
police in Iraq on charges of killing two U.S. officers, Capt. Phillip
      T. Esposito and First Lt. Louis E. Allen, on June 7. At first, it was
believed that they had been killed by a mortar shell, but upon
investigation it was discovered to have been premeditated murder.

In the last phase of the Vietnam war, when U.S. soldiers
quite often killed their officers, it was called "fragging." The fact
that it is now occurring this early in the Iraq war, is a real
indication how quickly morale in the U.S. military is breaking down.
