  • That is indicative that the software is unable to collect all of the data needed for a report. It might be that only partial data was received. The first column will not populate until all needed data is received. There may be exceptions for different stations where some data might be populated until other data is received but I do not recall all of the details.

  • It has been a long long time since I looked at the WMR and the packet decoding. Just opening a USB connection and maintaining it in windows is painful, that much I do recall.

  • Those are low-level communication packets. If it is say "Checksum Ok" then the packet was decipherable. Did you set the clock on the console? I cannot recall if the time was important or not. It might be important that it is within a few minutes of the PC clock. Double check that.

  • Richard, Go to the log screen, un-check all but "Show Console Com. Errors". Collect the logs that result and post here. I suspect that your console is not connected to the PC for some reason. Do you know how to browse the devices in the Device Manager to find the device driver? You are not running more than one weather application are you? Heath

  • Try: C:\Python35\python.exe "C:\Python35\ftp_file.py" So that the argument, the script name, is contained in double quotes. Once you get it working you can use: silient:C:\Python35\python.exe "C:\Python35\ftp_file.py" So that it runs without making any window visible when it runs. Notice there is a Help button where you enter the Action command lines and there are examples.

  • They need to go to the log screen and un-check errors only, un-check all other boxes except WeatherBug, clear the log. This will then capture all URLs sent and the responses from the WeatherBug servers. Have them hit the copy log to clipboard, paste in to an email to your records. You might have them disable rapid fire so that the log is not filled quickly and will capture a longer...

  • We could easily answer queries. The issue that I see is that you need to create a skill, the minimum software element that would allow the end user to store something like a target domain and port to query. Without adding the skill you have nothing other than what is already provided as in your example, it knows how to pull temps but from what source? Only Amazon knows.
