  • WUHU should work fine. What version of Windows are you using ? I've had problems getting Win7 Home to work, but Win7 Pro and WinXP work out of the box. --- In wuhu_software_group@^$1, "davebarber59" wrote: > > I have a lacrosse 2316 and can't seem to find the right software to observe it from my computer. The LaCrosse software is not good for this and the help from La Crosse is not...

  • Have you tried a hard reset ? Hold down the wind and pressure keys for 10 seconds so that the Console returns to factory defaults. You may need to reboot the PC as well afterwards. --- In wuhu_software_group@^$1, "drifter17536" wrote: > > I've had the system up and running for a couple of years now with no issues it's a LaCrosse WS-2310. • Have you tried a hard reset ? Hold down the wind and pressure keys for 10 seconds so that the Console returns to factory defaults. Also check all your connections. Are you using a serial to USB adapter ? Are you running wired or wireless sensors ? --- In wuhu_software_group@^$1, "ronw72" <1rondee@^$2..> wrote: > > > > > Sorry, > > I should have posted a little more information...

  • I have a La Crosse WS2350. Recently I've been having problems with corrupted data and it seems this is due to low batteries in the remote Temp/Humidity sensor. The symptoms are that often readings are out of range and on pwsweather.com it shows up as shown in the attachments. The high readings are due to synchronisation problems between the remote sensors (wireless) and the...

  • What's the weather station make and model ? How are you connected to the PC (via serial port adapter) ? It may be the adapter that's faulty. • I am starting to see this problem with a 2350 connected to the PC via the La Crosse supplied serial to USB adapter. What happens is that the unit seems to communicate with the PC fine for a few days. Then for no apparent reason the console stops communicating with the PC and no errors are displayed in the WUHU logs, yet the PC continues to run. I stop WUHU and then when I try to...

  • I'm running Win7 Pro (64 bit) with a Lacrosse WS2350 and had no luck running WUHU with Win7 Home, hence the upgrade to Pro. The data files are saved to c:\Program Files (x86)\WUHU\HWF.lst and c:\Program Files (x86)\WUHU\History.dat and not the default locations. I'm running in serial mode. Cheers Kevin. --- In wuhu_software_group@^$1, "Jeff" wrote: > > Still no joy. My next thought...

  • Best way to get Lacrosse 2310 to work with Windows 7 Professional which allows XP emulation. I'm using a WS2350 and could not get it to work with the basic Windows 7 (Home) edition. You won't need to use the Heavy Weather software if you have a Prolific USB to serial adapter. --- In wuhu_software_group@^$1, "wwetbottom" wrote: > > SORRY IF THIS IS A REPEAT. • What are the symptoms? how soon does the software crash after starting it ? What weather station make/model ? I'm using a WS2350 with Win7 64bit pro on a Revo R3610 with 4Gb memory. The PC locks up and no messages are displayed in the logs. This may occur randomly after a couple of days or a week, but may be due to my cat wandering around the back of the TV and upsetting the cables...
