  • Hey Steve!!! It *has* been a while. I am neck deep in working with the county - all still volunteer. I got tagged to be the county Emergency Coordinator for ARES/RACES a few months back. And I'm on a rural volunteer fire department if you can believe that. Mostly doing Safety Officer stuff and paperwork. CERT is a terrific program! Ours is rather stale right now ... hope they get...

  • I am saying, for this list, it makes no difference at all. But to set you straight, no, it is not a federal government, but a county government. Our EOC is funded by a grant they worked very hard for. Now, please ... no more off topic conversation on this. I will not be responding to it here again. --- In wuhu_software_group@^$1, "Ken" wrote: > > Most of the services you are...

  • An EOC is an Emergency Operations Center. We have been fortunate enough to be given a new weather room for Skywarn and ARES/RACES operations in the EOC building. Along with the needed equipment to use for not only weather situations, but ham radio communications as well. As far as your comments about government and such, I take offense with them since you have NO idea what you are...

  • Hi All, My EOC purchased a weather station but unfortunately they did not get one with a PC interface. So now I'm on the hunt to see if we could replace the console with one compatible with the existing sensors that came with the 1612. Anyone know? If so, could you let me know the model of the console? Thanks, Deb

  • Wow, I was about to report the same thing! KARGREEN4 is also duped. Wicked, eh? I was almost hoping someone had blessed me with a high-end Davis or something as a surprise. • No data upload errors are being reported, so I'm sure our data is still being taken. It's a front-end thing I'm sure, where the public view is compromised but not the "behind the scenes" base data. • Now that you mention it, I'm getting the same thing. Wasn't doing that earlier - I'm sure they're working on something in the background. It's been my experience after all these years that any issues WU has are extremely short in duration. :-) ~ Deb On Sun, Jul 19, 2009 at 9:59 AM, toms-weather@^$1 < toms-weather@^$2 > wrote: Anyone else have this problem today? • It's a new news feature WU has added to the Cities pages. Just below the moon phases on the left side of the page. Not the left sidebar, but the left column. ~ Deborah On Wed, Jul 15, 2009 at 7:37 PM, steve_03222 < steve_03222@^$1 > wrote: What or where is this FWIX that you are referring to? • Same here Rick. You're not alone. And it's not just in Firefox (my default browser) but in IE8 as well. ~ Deborah On Wed, Jul 15, 2009 at 2:18 PM, Rick < cfr301@^$1 > wrote: I don't know what fwix is, but if I allow it on the Cities page it locksup updates, if this is something that WU, has added its not working properly here using firefox Rick KOHWAPAK1
