      Remove heavyweather from the equation all together.  My setup was exactly like yours is and I had issues with heaverweather all the time.  (Freezes, lockups, weird data issues, etc)

      Instead of running heavyweather, let WUHU talk directly to the weatherstation console on com1.   This is called direct serial mode.

      Shutdown heavyweather, and reconfigure WUHU to talk to your weather station.  At this point you don't need heavyweather running.  (Keep it around because you can reset the console for rain etc)

      You will be most surprised that your machine doesn't use 100% of the CPU anymore.  Heavyweather is a poorly written application, and one of the reasons Heath created WUHU.

      Second part of the action file/templates,  do you have the Write Extended Currentdat Setting turned on?
      Check your wuhu configuration.ini for write extended currentdat = 0 or see if the entry is missing.

      If it is =0 or missing add the bold text only under the general settings section:

      [General Settings]
      Write Extended Currentdat=1

      Now that you have that enabled, restart WUHU.
      This will enable the output of extended variables.

      Next. You can look at your output of currdat.lst for all the variables that you can use in a template.  Your template looks ok, I suspect it is the write extened currentdat is missing.

      HeavyWeather Bata is creating the currdat.lst in c:\HeavyWeather every 60 seconds. I've viewed it with Wordpad and data is current. Every 300 seconds HeavyWeatherUploader is running action on activation  (Action.txt) and is creating HighsAndLows.htm in C:\HeavyWeather\WUHU\data and is ftp(ing) the file successfully to my web page. The problem is the template HighsAndLows.txt is not putting the data in HighsAndLows.htm but is putting the variables in instead. The result can be seen at http://personalpages.tds.net/~jdins1/HighsAndLows.htm. It appears as though the template HighsAndLows.txt can't read the currdat.lst to parse the data out and as a result is just writing the variables in the htm file. Question is why?
        Any help would be much appreciated.
