    Assuming that you have a WS-28XX, there is a service (WV5Communication) running on the machine that populates the currdat.lst file. You could check under

      Assuming that you have a WS-28XX, there is a service (WV5Communication) running on the machine that populates the currdat.lst file. You could check under control panel, administrative tools, services to check whether this is being stopped for whatever reason.

      As far as the WU upload error deactivated, I am guessing that there was an earlier WU upload error activated that indicates that data could not be uploaded, perhaps the modem was not connected at that time.
