Not sure who is the best... I am guessing they all charge MSRP for parts. Here is one: http://www.weatherpeddler.com/page/Peddler/CTGY/AL What part is bad?

I've narrowed it down to the thermo-sensor. Specifically, the part that the wind cable plugs in to. I opened the sensor and cannot see any loose areas, but I got a wind readong when I held the cable in place, a bit skewed, a couple of times. It simply cannot be placed where the connection will hold.

If I were more electronically literate, perhaps I could repair it. I will try to call La Crosse tomorrow and see if they'll cover it under warranty, but I doubt it since it happened due to a darn dog getting hold of my cables (thus, the reason to splice the rain sensor). So I guess I'll have to buy a whole new thermo-sensor.

Thanks for the link. I'll check 'em out.

            ~ Deborah

WUHU (geeze, I wish I knew your name!) the "sale" price is the MSRP on the La Crosse site so I'll take it!

And me with a non-functioning weather station.   :-)

                          More like $59.
