Sorry, I didn’t fully read your post. I see that this problem involves just one computer on your network. I would still scan for viruses/malware, try the dns flush, and make sure you’ve rebooted.

Subject: [wuhu_software_group] Off Topic - computer question

Recently I have been having issues with just one computer on my home network connecting to sites. It does not happen every time. With Explorer 6.0 when I would select say a favorite, on the bottom of the screen instead of showing "connecting to Yahoo.com" it would show "connecting to 69.125.22... 9the IP address). It would just sit there and never load the page or fault out. I now have IE 8 and still have the same problem, except now it will show "connecting to yahoo.com" and just sit there showing the connecting symbol for a while, then just stop and nothing on the page.
I have cleaned out history, and such..all th eobvious things. I have not done a DNS flush as I have no clue what I will loose if I do that, not even sure if it would help.
I have searched the internet and can not find my exact problem.
Just wondering if any of you computer experts have any safe suggestions.
      Thanks, steve
