17216Re: Wind Speed/Gusts
- Oct 1 4:27 AMThe problem is that more than likely these wind speeds are not being written to the currdat.lst file by HW Pro.
A way to confirm this is to open the currdat.lst with notepad to confirm what WUHU is seeing.
Look in the file for:
mps = "0.0"
kmh = "0.0"
mph = "0.0"
knt = "0.0"
bft = " 0"
This file is probably being written to once per minute if I had to guess.

Heavy Weather shows the max to be 23.3 MPH but WUHU shows the max gust to only be as 16.3. WUHU shows that it captured that speed at 06:44. I do see that speed at 06:31. But in the meantime, since 06:31, about 30 minutes, I've had speed exceed that amount.
