VC6 & WinXP
- Maybe someone has encountered the problem I'm facing:
I got a new PC at work with Windows XP. When I lauch my WTL application (or any GUI app) from within the Visual C++ environment (Ctrl+F5), if a breakpoint exception (either ASSERT or a hard-coded __asm int 3), the Visual C++ debugger doesn't get invoked correctly.
I get the message box: "- Application Error: The exception Breakpoint. A breakpoint has been reached. Click on OK to terminate the program".
After OK, the application just terminates!
If I launch the app outside of VC6, the debugger does attach correctly.
