  • Hello, all, Newcomer to digital modes and have been trying to setup WSJT on my laptop with a venerable Ten-Tec Argonaut 515. I have been successful to some extent, with the receive working perfectly. However, the same cannot be said of transmit where I have come to the limit of my abilities. The PTT is switching the rig to transmit as it should but as far as I can judge, using my...

  • Hi Folks, I don't know how else to describe it, but every once in a while a JT65 transmission will go crazy on me. The audio signal sounds like it's going two to three times as fast as normal, with what I can best describe as a jitter in it as well. It happens in about one in 50 transmissions, happens on all bands and occurs at random. Clicking the [Halt TX] button and then...

  • Hi Lewis, I haven't been doing this long enough to notice any change in activity, but I would love to see more activity on JT9 and will make a point of calling CQ there more often. The way things are now it's getting difficult to find a place to operate sometimes. I'm not complaining though!! 73, Ken Alexander VE3HLS On 2013-11-20 4:41 PM, Lewis Green wrote: Wondered if anyone has...

  • WSJTX saves the log as an ADIF file so there's nothing to do at that end. EQSL allows you to import ADIF files into their system. Have a look on their website and you should be able to find where you can import the log. 73, Ken Alexander VE3HLS On Nov 9, 2013, at 12:21 PM, < bcarling@^$1 > wrote: Hi - I am using WSJT-X does anyone know about how Export the LOGS to eQSL please? • Thank you Joe, While things do seem to be working now I'll uninstall and do the installation again according to your recomendation. It'll save me having to ask again when I try using add-ons in the future. Thanks again and 73, Ken Alexander VE3HLS On 2013-10-14 10:14 AM, Joe Subich, W4TV wrote: > 2. • I neglected to mention a few things in my initial post: I'm running Windows 8 I let WSJT9 install itself where it wanted to: C:\Program files (x86)\WSJT9 This morning I right-clicked on the WSJT9 icon, selected Properties and then selected Run as Administrator, saved and exited. All is well now and WSJT opens fine and displays the three windows. I can now configure it and move on...

  • Hi folks, Just downloaded WSJT this evening and installed it. The first time I tried running it a window opened and displayed a message about a FORTRAN error, then closed before I could finish reading it. I tried again a few times with the same result. I have installed WSJT in the past and know you have to specify audio inputs and outputs before it will work properly, but I can't...

  • Could a Windows 7 user talk me through how to make these Control Panel adjustments? The termininology under Control Panel seems to be different and I tried unsuccessfully to identify a functioning parallel to the instructions. 73, Jim, VE1JF
