      I'm getting the below error messages when starting wsjt with soundarcd # 5 selected. I found a similar post on this forum from a couple of years ago that mentioned creating a file called asoundrc in the user's home dir, but that didn't help here.

        However, the snd_pcm error i've also seen, but have not been able to
        remove. i removed all the audio drivers pulse/port/jack and
        reinstalled just portaudio and it seemed to go away. (not a good
        solution i know), but it's what i did.
