Just a reminder... it's not too late NAHSMS Contest
- It appears the first "Random Contacts Only" NAHSMS Contest had gotten off to
a good start. During the period of 13:00 - 15:00 UTC several stations were
heard calling CQ Simplex (without offset) on 50.260 MHz. Maybe they were not
in the contest or like me forgetting to turn off the radio "Split" when
someone called them.
If you haven't yet joined in the contest, it's not too late. If you're only
interested in making a few contacts that's fine, the stations looking for
random contacts would appreciate you pinging around.
The morning hours should be great Sunday and Monday morning. Likewise nights
should provide the usual random meteors if that is the only time you have.
The rules remain at: http://www.ykc.com/wa5ufh/Rally/NAHSMS.htm
Thanks for the bandwidth, just wanted to put out this gentle reminder so all
can have an opportunity to make a contact / submit a log.
