      Good Evening, All …

I made it back this afternoon and would like Thanks those who called and apologize for not getting on-the-air a bit more.   But hopefully did get a few guys a new grid.    My brother and I ended up short-handed for some camp work we wanted to get done (a couple guys ‘no-shows’), and then the weather wasn’t the greatest (rain on/off, sometimes hard, and around 40deg).  We made out pretty good $$$-wise as we each sold one of our 4-wheeled ‘toy’s’ to some local guys that belong to our snowmobile club.   So it was off to the casino for a little wagering and adult beverages.    About broke even after a couple hours play.

      Anyway, here’s MS/FSK contacts:

      W1IPL              2M        1153     26/26

      AB3BK             2M        1217     26/26

      N5SIX               2M        1248     26/26

      WB9F               6M        1353     26/26

      W1IPL              6M        1404     27/26

      W9SE               6M        1418     27/26

      AG2A               6M        1430     27/26

Heard both N5BO and WA3LTB at 1443, called N5BO until 1500, then back to CQ.

      W3KWH           6M        1545     EN76/EN90

      KI0LE               6M        1610     26/26

      N3RN                6M        1622     27/26

      One JT65B run:

      W9BLI              2M        1649     RO/OOO

Sure to be out again soon somewhere.   Would be interested in comments on 6M signals heard from me as I’m always trying out new antennae.   This last time was a pair of stacked PAR loops for 6M.    And I need to build something a little more portable than the 17el Tonna yagi for 2M.    It’s just not exactly /P for one guy to handle along without catching the elements on something and bending them all up.    I have used a 6el quad for 2M in the past with fair results, and that fits in the back of the truck nice …

      Bye for now and 73
