Hi Folks - Got an issue that maybe someone has an answer for. I run a MacBook Air laptop with my Elecraft K3. I also use MacLoggerDX (MLDX) for limited CAT control and QSO logging. MLDX uses the serial->USB driver "cu.usbserial-A8003Ssu" that I believe is there from my connecting the Prolific Serial->USB cable between the K3 and the laptop. It appears that this device cannot be shared between applications. If WSJT-X is not running, MLDX communicates with the K3 just fine. likewise, if MLDX is not running, WSJT-X sees and controls the K3. If I try to run them both, the second app started fails rig control.
However, I also use cocoaModem, the PSK31/TRRY application developed by W7AY. That program uses the SLUSB and has no problem running at the same time as MLDX.
Can anyone tell me what "device" to point WSJT-X at in the /dev/ library to make it see the SLUSB?
