      Absolutely - Part 97.305 limits 50.000 - 50.100 and 144.000 - 144.100
to CW only (or more specifically limits, MCW, Phone, image, RTTY,
      and data) to 50.100 - 54.000 and 144.100 - 148.000.

RTTY and data are specifically permitted *only* in 3.500 - 3.6000,
      7.000 - 7.125, 14.000 - 14.150, 18.068 - 18.110, 21.000 - 21.200,
      24.890 - 24.930, and 28.000 - 28.300 MHz at HF.

Most JT65(b) activity for MS (FSK441), EME and terrestrial (65B) has traditionally been in the 144.100-144.150 range. My thought is move the "076/078" terrestrial default for 2m to 144.176/.178. I'd be interested in what other VHF'ers think - NA in particular. What little 2m SSB I've done has been from about 144.185 up, usually 144.200+.
