    There is a new Christmas Bird Count circle in the Eagle Valley.  Please help us kick off the count for this circle with a bang by joining us and bringing along your friends and family.

    Date:  Sunday December 19th, 2010, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
    Avid birders wanting longer times and owlers are greatly welcomed!

    Meeting Time & Location:  8:00 am at the Eagle Valley Visitor Center parking lot, 100 Fairgrounds Road in Eagle, CO

    Compilation of Data:  1:00 pm at the Fedrizzi Residence on Brush Creek Road, yummy chile, soup and hot drinks provided

    Provided:  Local bird checklist and maps of areas of interest
    A few extra binoculars and bird field guides may be available

    Please Bring:  appropriate clothing, spotting scopes, binoculars, bird guides, water, and a snack and a $5 participation fee for ages 18 and older

    Needing:  Intermediate to expert birders to lead small groups
    All birding levels are welcomed

    Confirmation:  If you plan on attending, please contact me by Friday December 17th.

    Areas of Interest within the Circle:  include but are not limited to, Sylvan Lake State Park, Brush Creek, Eagle River, Gypsum Creek
