      Greetings,

With one area and perhaps some feeder watchers yet to report, the Grand Junction CBC conducted yesterday stands at 97 species counted (plus a feral Mandarin duck).   The only new bird on the list is Eurasian Collared-Dove, which was expected.  Big misses include Northern Shoveler, Canvasback, Barn Owl, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Marsh Wren, and Evening Grosbeak.  We achieved a new high count for our signature bird, Western Screech-Owl, with 47.  The list is pasted in below.  Corrections and addiions may follow, but large changes are not expected.
