      Hi All,

Yesterday the Durango Bird Club had a good field trip to Navajo Reservoir and points east.  Best birds were imm. Sabine's Gull and Pectoral Sandpiper (county record?).  The gull was flying and resting on the water mostly along the Piedra arm of the reservoir and probably one of the same birds seen there on Monday.  The Pectoral Sandpiper was at a small pond at the very north end of the Piedra arm of the reservoir.  The best view of this pond is from the east side accessed by driving in the unsigned road just south of the Deer Run entrance.
