Yesterday evening and this morning in the vicinity of Wolf Creek campground in Mineral Co. (just west of Wolf Creek Pass near the junction of the West Fork of the San Juan River and Wolf Creek) were:

      2 American Three-toed Woodpeckers
2 Black Swifts at Treasure Falls
      at least 1 Peregrine Falcon

A total of 48 species were seen or heard. Most amazing was the density of Western Tanagers.
