Chores vs. Birds ??
Nope, its not another IQ Test. But taxes need finishing, lawn needs mowing, humplants need weeding, irrigation needs mending, everything needs watering, A/C needs preparation, and furnace needs shut-down. Yet somehow I escaped with a smile! Its a mental defect I have, not painful, just mental. =)

Common grackle 1 in Kremmling was consolation for missing Forrests Blue jay
White-winged crossbill 2 just below Rabbit Ears Pass (darn! east of the Divide), in a large mixed flock of pine siskins, red crossbills, cassins finches, and pine grosbeaks thank you Forrest for alerting me to this location!
Evening grosbeak gobs (100s?) in Steamboat Springs, thanks to Tom Litterals directions

Barrows goldeneye male on Lake Catamount was a first for me in the month of April (Re: my on-going monthly tic-list for western Colorado )
American white pelicano my first of year at Stagecoach Reservoir I heard the calling of distant Sandhill cranes and looked up to see a white speck in the ionosphere, which thru my bins was transformed into a swirl of three birds, two sandhills and one pelicano! Wow they were UP THERE!!
