      Greetings,
      Spring migration is coming along. Also few of wintering species will soon be heading north, like Rough-legged Hawks and Northern Shrikes. I have generated a list below via e-bird of today birds around Nucla. Since the first of March species seen in area not listed below are, Gadwall, Lesser Scaup, Ring-necked Pheasant, Golden Eagle, American Kestral, Ring-billed Gull, Northern Shrike, Pinyon Jay, Juniper Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, Canyon and Bewick's Wrens, and Song and White-crowned Sparrows for a total of 54 species.
