      I stopped by Confluence Park on my way home from GJ. Several "firsts of the year" for me. Not many waterbirds, but lots of people fishing.

      most noteworthy:
      2 Lazuli Buntings (males)
      1 singing Virginia Warbler
      50+ Cedar Waxwings
      1 calling Bullock's Oriole (never did see it)
      2 Plumbeous Vireo (one sang briefly)
      ~15 American White Pelicans

      New birds in my yard in Paonia today:
      Pine Siskin
      Spotted Sandpiper
      Marsh Wren
      White-crowned Sparrow
