//->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE
      Web version at -[http://www.wrestling-online.com/news%5d-

      > FLAIR ALIGNS HIMSELF WITH AJ STYLES
      - Here are the results from yesterday's Genesis pay-per-view from Universal
Studios in Orlando, FL. Amazing Red defeated Brian Kendrick to retain the
X-Division title; Sean Morley defeated Daniels; Tara defeated ODB in a 2 out
of 3 falls match to win the TNA Knockouts title; Matt Morgan and Hernandez
defeated The British Invasion to win the TNA Tag Team titles; Desmond Wolfe
defeated The Pope; Beer Money defeated Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman who
substituted Scott Hall; Mr Anderson defeated Abyss, taking the place of
Bobby Lashley; AJ Styles defeated Kurt Angle thanks to the help of the
Nature Boy Ric Flair who is now aligned with the TNA champ.

      > MR. ANDERSON DEBUTS AT GENESIS
      - The man formerly known as Mr. Kennedy - Ken Anderson - made his debut on
TNA Wrestling yesterday during the Genesis pay-per-view. Carrying over the
same gimmick but now known as Mr. Anderson, he wrestled Abyss on the card,
replacing Bobby Lashley who in just two weeks has to fight in his
Strikeforce MMA debut. Anderson won his debut match by hitting Abyss with
brass knuckles. TNA had been hyping a new acquisition that would debut on
the show for the past week. Anderson was released from his WWE contract in
May of last year and lately worked the Hulkamania tour in Australia with
      Flair and Hogan.

      > HOGAN SAYS LINDA MCMAHON WILL WIN SENATE RACE
      - While Hulk Hogan is busy challenging Vince McMahon on television and radio
appearances, he had some nice things to say about his wife Linda, who is
running for the U.S. Senate under the Republican banner in Connecticut.
Speaking with the Hartford Courant newspaper, Hogan said that he thinks
Linda will win the race because she's brilliant. "She's a very gracious,
very smart lady, and her intent and her agenda has always been to help the
community and be plugged in and be involved," Hogan said. The WWE Hall of
Famer was full of praise for the former WWE Chief Executive Officer. "Inside
or outside that wrestling world that the McMahons have created, Linda
      McMahon is a great person."

      > TWO GUEST HOSTS FOR RAW TONIGHT
      - Tonight's Monday Night RAW will be guest hosted by Jon Heder and Don
Johnson, stars of the upcoming movie When In Rome. The two will be there to
promote - you guessed it - their movie which comes out on January 29. Heder
is most known for his role in Napoleon Dynamite while Johnson became famous
for his role on the hit TV series Miami Vice.

      > BRET HART, UNDERTAKER TO APPEAR ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW
      - The Undertaker is expected to be on RAW tonight to answer Shawn Michaels'
challenge for a rematch at WrestleMania 26. Taker is exclusively to
Smackdown but appears on RAW on special occasions. HBK issued another
challenge to the Phenom at the Slammy Awards RAW after picking up the statue
for the best match of 2009 at WrestleMania 25. Michaels said that he knows
he can beat the Undertaker and end his undefeated streak at the biggest
event of them all. With the match going forward it will be interesting to
see if Taker has agreed to do the job and destroy a streak that currently
sits at 17-0 at WrestleMania. Also tonight Bret "Hit Man" Hart will be on
the show to face off against WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon. Their
program will also lead to some kind of match at this year's WrestleMania.
