- BSkyB in the United Kingdom has picked the rights for the upcoming
pay-per-view Cyber Sunday and will show it for 'free' on Sky Sports 1

agreement was reached over the weekend for the broadcaster to carry the
show. ECW's 'December to Dismember' is also not part of the current

> RAW, SMACKDOWN! RATINGS
- RAW tanked in the rating once again, not a good sign for the go-home
edition for Cyber Sunday. The Show did a 3.5 composite rating off hours 3.4
and 3.7 with a 5.5 share. That is down 0.1 from last week. AM Raw did a 0.9
with a 3.8 share during the weekend. Smackdown! on Friday night pulled a 2.8
rating with a 4.8 share, the best number in a while for the show. (Ratings
compiled by Nielsen Media Research and put online by PWInsider.com)

//->> THE VERTEBREAKER
By George Brazzel -[v-man@...
Someone tell me again why WWE released Francine. Then again, why did they
release the Boogeyman, only to hire him back? I understand why WWE released
Psicosis. He was naughty in the car. What a dumbass. Almost as stupid as a
certain website reporting that a former superstar died. It must be awkward
to show up for work in the morning, and have someone actually tell you that
they read you died on WWE.com. McMahon was right, that sight does suck.
Okay, the site isn't actually that bad, I admit. Just alittle odd.
Released: Justin Credible, Psicosis, Gunner Scott, Francine, Tim Horner, Ted
Dibiase..... what? Why? I liked seeing him walk down to the ring, with the
diabalical laugh that makes him stand out. He's right, you know- everyone's
got a price. WWE brought back Tully Blanchard, mainly to put together the
Four Horseman dvd I believe. Do we have a Ted Dibiase dvd yet? I'd love to
see that. Hey WWE, I wish them all the best in their future endevours as
well- maybe in TNA. I've always had a self-kept dream that Ted Dibiase would
come out or his "retirement" and manage one of our future superstars to
greatness. His presense would do wonders for someone like MVP, or even Mr.
Kennedy. Just a thought.
Slowly But Surely: Is it just me, or is Smackdown improving week after week?
I loved it when Chavo beat Rey into submission with a chair while hanging
upside down by his leg. Is the latest angle going to be Chavo and Vickie as
a couple? Ew. I like the return of the Boogeyman. I also like the reunion of
the Brothers of Destruction. I know that we may not have many more years
left seeing the Dead Man in the ring, so I'm eating it up while I can. I
stand by my comment that a run as the American Bad Ass would be cool, but
that's just me. Even if you cannot stand Smackdown, you have to admit that
it has improved, slowly but surely, on a weekly basis.
Bischoff Is War: Is Eric's new book as good as it's being played out to be?
Is it really as "out the box" as he's claiming week after week in his
promos? Haven't read it yet, so I couldn't say. I'm anxious to learn more
about WCW's rise to and fall from wrestling domination. If anyone has
actually read the book, drop me a line, and tell me what you think of it.
I've considered buying a copy for Brittany for Christmas. It's wrestling,
it's controversial, she'll probably actually read it- unlike her Lit
homework. If anyone is offended by my use of Christmas, instead of "Winter
Holiday" or whatever other P.C. phrase is popular now; you can blow it out
Random Thoughts: Thanks for the feedback on children watching wrestling
people. I never realized just how many people shared my basic view on this.
For the two people that didn't- yes, I said two; this is still America, and
I thank you just the same for your input. Ron Simmons is the man. How many
guys can come out and get a crowd to go nuts by saying just one word? I
mean.... DAMN! Hey, how about a celebrity wrestling match between Mr & Mrs.
Britney Spears against John Cena and Brooke Hogan? Let her drop the leg on
me man. I'm due to be an uncle in about a month. WWE ought to have a
tournament for the vacated women's title, and drag it out forever and a
day.... ah, nevermind. I'd love to see an upset, and have Maria beat Lita.
I've caught my first glimpse of Harry Smith, son of the late British
Bulldog. I thought he'd be bigger, muscle wise. Are we being pushed to see
Falir and Dusty Rhodes team up at Cyber Sunday? Am I alone in thinking the
WWE's Power 25 rankings are a joke? Speaking of a joke, can WWE not come up
with a better feud for the Miz than Layla? Layla would beat the snot out of
him, and he knows it. I guess it's good that Sting won the TNA Title. I'm
not a big fan of him having the title, though I'm a big Sting fan. I think
the champ should be a guy that can go in the ring night after night, and I
don't think Sting can do that now. Smackdown will add yet another blonde to
the diva division, Angel Williams. Is that supposed to make up for firing
Dibiase- because it still hurts man! Hurt... when does See No Evil come out
on dvd? I think WWE should come out with a dvd about the "kliq"; one that's
true to life uncensored. I also think that WWE should stop looking to
burn-out wrestlers and soap opera writers for creative storylines and input.
I happen to know "a guy" that would be willing to do the job for free for
one month, just to test the waters. As long as "his" travel expenses and
meals were paid for. I hear "he" likes to eat. Just an idea.
Anyone want to tell me something? Email me at v-man@...
